Review everything you need to know to prepare for feeding your newborn and/or managing your milk supply. Customized to meet your feeding goals, topics may include: milk production basics, breastfeeding positions, how to recognize an effective latch, typical feeding schedules, how to know that your baby is getting enough to eat, identifying potential barriers to lactation, hand expression/antenatal colostrum collection, flange sizing, pump education, safe bottling practices, managing engorgement, and when to see a physician.

$150 for 1 hour

Pumping Assessment

A detailed pumping assessment provides personalized recommendations that optimize your pumping routine. Whether you're aiming to increase supply, manage recurring plugs or engorgement, eliminate pain while pumping, wean from the pump, or navigate pumping needs as breastfeeding skills improve, this session is tailored to support your specific goals and needs.

Optional trial of flanges and inserts with current inventory including 10-36 mm in Maymom, Pumpin Pals, and Lacteck.

PleaseNote: To prevent any potential conflict of interest, client must purchase flange separately from a third party

$150 for 1 hour. Follow up $100 for 45 minutes

Breastfeeding Assessment

Personalized, in-home lactation support to help you and your baby find comfort and confidence with feeding.

Together, we’ll address your questions and concerns, and create a plan that feels sustainable and aligned with your feeding goals. Common areas of support include:

  • Milk supply challenges (under or oversupply)

  • Latching difficulties or painful feeding

  • Navigating supplementation

  • Transitioning home after a NICU stay

  • Balancing rest, recovery, and stress while breastfeeding

  • Reassurance and confidence that you’re doing things right

Whether you’re seeking guidance, problem-solving, or simply reassurance, I’ll walk alongside you with compassion, expertise, and encouragement so you can feel confident in your feeding journey.

$200 for up to 1.5 hours. Follow up appointments $150 for 1 hour Breastfeeding, Pumping, & Bottling Assessment $250 for up to 2 hours ‍ ‍ Additional fees may be incurred for cases requiring additional time such as multiples and co-feeding parents

Lactation After Loss (No Cost)

Guided by years of NICU nursing experience, compassionate guidance is offered by phone to families navigating lactation after pregnancy or infant loss.

Together, we will briefly review options for milk suppression, discuss strategies to prevent mastitis, or create a pumping routine to donate milk if desired.

Virtual consultation through our secure Practice Better Client Portal. Provides lactation education and support for prenatal clients, breastfeeding and/or pumping families.

Ideal for families that require lactation support after delivery in centres that do not have lactation consultants on staff, or towns that do not have a IBCLC. Topics that may be well served virtually:

  • Prenatal education

  • Engorgement management

  • Pumping optimization

  • Establishing pumping and/or feeds immediately postpartum
